About Lawns and Landscapes
Christchurch Lawns and Landscapes was formed in 2009 by Chris Parry after he was made redundant during a recession from a local Landscaping company experiencing some major downsizing. Chris is a passionate gardener and landscape enthusiast with a bachelors degree in Fine Arts - Painting and approx 15 years of Graphic design experience in the broadcast industry primarily Television New Zealand. Chris now enjoys exploring the creative opportunities landscapes provide as well as the pleasure of working outdoors after years of working inside hunched over computers. Running his own business and still completing design projects, Chris seems to spend a fair bit of time at the computer still.
Chris provides a boutique, stress free and high quality landscape service, he takes pride in his work and enjoys improving the landscape experience for others. Chris particularly enjoys his larger garden maintenance contracts as he gets to enjoy the many seasonal changes of these gardens. If you are looking for just a one-off installation for a new garden area or full concept landscaping Chris is more than happy to discuss your plans and design ideas and present back concepts and planting plans. Whilst he mostly completes 'Soft Landscaping' he has quality sub-contractors and contacts who can provide a full landscaping service including all 'Hard Landscaping'.
